art comes from many places. we are mere portals. vessels. the channels through which spirit speaks. this piece was born of feelings I’ve yet to find words for, yet offers the energy of returning. of communing with the ancestral realm. of the ways our every move and breath is a prayer. the journey is undefined, yet we continue. sankofa. we leave to come back, to bring union between the spiritual and physical. past and future manifesting in the now.
